Vale of Clara Safari - April 2023

Bray Camera Club are heading to the Vale of Clara Nature Reserve in late April 2023!

The Vale of Clara Nature Reserve is situated 34KM from Bray and is one of the most scenic and serene locations in all of Wicklow - 550 acres of oak-wood cover the reserve, which is one of the largest stands of native hardwoods in the country. The reserve is home to a wealth of woodland birdlife including Long-eared Owls, Jays, Treecreepers, Crossbills, and the Great Spotted Woodpecker.

There are multiple looped trails in the Reserve 2km, 5km and 9km and walking conditions are considered Family Friendly.

Where to Meet

Assemble at the Clara Vale Church, R755.
